Crown Inn

Right, so you're looking for a decent place to stay in Birkdale? The Crown Inn is a solid option, especially if you're here for the golf. It's got a 4.1 star rating from over 800 Google reviews, so people generally seem happy enough. It's not the Ritz, mind you, but it's a perfectly respectable pub with rooms in a handy location.

It's one of those Ember Inns, so you know what you're getting: decent pub grub at a reasonable price, and a pretty reliable standard across the board. They're open midday to 11pm every day, so you can always pop in for a pint. The rooms are decent enough for a night or two, and I reckon it would suit couples more than families, to be honest.
