Gusto Trattoria

If you're after a decent Italian meal on Lord Street, Gusto Trattoria is a solid shout. I've been a few times, and it's always been pretty good. It's not a local boozer or anything, more of a modern restaurant with a bar area, so it's got a bit of atmosphere, especially on weekends. They do your classic pasta and pizza dishes, but they also have some more interesting stuff on the menu, plus a decent wine list. The big windows are nice for people-watching, too.

The Google reviews are mostly positive – 4.5 stars from 450 reviews, so that tells you something. It's not the cheapest place on Lord Street, but it's not going to break the bank either – think mid-range prices. It's a good date spot or a place to go with a group of friends when you don't want to cook.
