Hanoi House

If you fancy Vietnamese food in Southport town centre, Hanoi House is a solid shout. It's got a 4.5 star rating on Google from 67 reviews, so most people seem to rate it. I've been a few times, and it's always been decent, especially if you're after something a bit different from the usual Italian or pub grub. The food is fresh, and they do a good pho.

The vibe is fairly relaxed, good for couples or a quiet meal with friends. I wouldn’t say it’s specifically geared towards families with young kids, but they're usually accommodating. It’s not a massive place, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy. They're open evenings only, from 5 or 6 PM depending on the day, closing between 9 and 10 PM.

They seem to have a good selection of Vietnamese beers too, which is a plus. It's a good place to try if you're getting bored of the same old restaurants in town. It's not dirt cheap, but the prices are reasonable enough.

It's worth ringing ahead on 01704 500084, especially if you're planning on going on a Friday or Saturday night, as it does get busy.
