New China City

Fancy a Chinese in town without breaking the bank? New China City is your spot. It's been a solid choice for years, and the 4.2 rating from over 350 Google reviews tells you it's consistently decent. Don't expect anything fancy, but it's good, reliable Chinese food at a price that won't make your eyes water.

They do the usual Cantonese dishes, plus some Thai bits and bobs. It's a good all-rounder, so ideal if you're with a group and everyone fancies something different. It's pretty casual, so fine for families or a quick bite with your other half. They have a lunchtime special menu, too.
