The Dolphin

If you're heading out towards Scarisbrick, The Dolphin is a solid shout for a quick bite. It's got a 4.4 rating from over 500 Google reviews, so most people leave happy. It’s basically a chippy with seating, not a fancy restaurant, so don't go expecting tablecloths! They do the usual fish and chips, pies, that sort of thing, and there's a takeaway counter if you're just passing through.

It's been there for yonks, and it's popular with locals because it's reliable and reasonably priced. There are seats inside and out, which is handy. It's not a place you'd go for a big night out, more of a place to refuel after a walk or bike ride. It's definitely not a pub or anything like that.
