Bailey's Ainsdale

If you're nipping to Ainsdale shops, Bailey's is worth a look. It's got a bit of everything, really – cards, gifts, that sort of thing. Good if you need a last-minute birthday present and can't be bothered trekking into Southport town centre. Word of mouth is good, Google reviews are sitting pretty at 4.8 stars from 15 reviews, so people seem happy.

They're open Monday to Saturday, 9 'til half five. Sunday they are closed for a well-deserved day off. You can give them a ring on 01704 576417 if you need to check if they have something specific in stock. I think they do a lot of seasonal stuff, so the selection changes quite a bit.

It's not a massive shop, so don't expect to spend hours browsing, but it's well-stocked. It's the kind of place where you'll probably find something you didn't know you needed! They do have a Facebook page if you want to see what they're selling, but it's not always up-to-date.

Parking in Ainsdale can be a bit of a pain, especially on Saturdays, so give yourself a bit of extra time to find a spot.
