Bell Jewellers

Looking for a proper jeweller in town? Bell Jewellers is right on Lord Street, easy to find. They've been there for years, and I reckon if you're after something classic and reliable, they're worth a look. My Auntie Barbara got her engagement ring reset there back in the 90s, and it's still going strong.

They're not open mega-late – closing up around 4:15 PM most days, and shut Sundays. So don't leave it 'til the last minute if you need something. Their Google reviews are sitting at 3.9 stars from 41 reviews, so generally, people seem happy enough. They've got a website too, if you want to have a nosey at what they stock before you head down.

They seem to do a bit of everything, from watches to necklaces, and I'm pretty sure they do repairs too, so if your watch battery's gone, give 'em a ring on 01704 535874. Always good to support local businesses that have been around the block a few times, eh?

Parking on Lord Street can be a pain, so I'd aim for one of the side streets or the car park by Marks & Spencer.
