Birkdale Kitchen Co.

If you're doing up your kitchen, or just fancy a nose, Birkdale Kitchen Co. is worth a look. They're based right in Birkdale village – you can't miss 'em. I popped in last year when we were thinking of redoing ours, and they had some really nice displays. It's not the cheapest place, mind you, but the quality seems spot on.

They've got a good rep, too. Google reviews are sitting pretty at 4.9 out of 5 from 27 reviews, which is always a good sign. They're open most days 9 'til 5, except Saturdays when they close a bit earlier at 4pm, and they're shut on Sundays, like a lot of places around here. Give them a ring on 01704 651488 if you want to chat about something specific.

They seem to focus on complete kitchen refits rather than just bits and bobs, so bear that in mind. You can browse some of their stuff on their website, but honestly, it's better to see it in person to get a feel for it.

Parking in Birkdale can be a pain, especially on a Saturday, so give yourself a bit of extra time to find a spot down a side street.
