Cambridge Walks

Right, so Cambridge Walks. It's basically a covered shopping arcade right in the middle of town, just off Lord Street. Good if the weather's a bit dodgy, keeps you mostly dry. It's got a 4.1 rating based on 350 Google reviews, so people generally seem to like it.

You'll find a mix of shops in there – some of the usual suspects, and a few smaller, independent places. It's not massive, you can walk through it in a few minutes, but it's a handy cut-through and there’s usually something interesting to look at. Plus it's all on one level, so good for wheelchairs and buggies.

Opening hours are pretty standard: 9 'til 6, Monday to Saturday. They're closed on Sundays though, so don’t go then. If you need to ring them for something, the number is 01704 500751.

Parking can be a pain in that area, so you're best off using one of the bigger car parks on the outskirts of the town centre and walking in.
