Need to grab something quick in Banks? The Co-op on Hoole Lane is usually your best bet. It's a proper supermarket, not just a corner shop, so you can get your full shop done there if you need to. They're open late too - 7am to 10pm most days, handy if you're working late. Sundays they open at 8am.

It's a Co-op, so you know what you're getting. Good selection of groceries and household bits and bobs, plus they push the ethical and local sourcing thing which is alright by me.
