Mere Brow Deli

Right, so you’re after a decent sandwich in town, yeah? Forget the usual suspects and head to Mere Brow Deli. It’s got a cracking 4.8 stars from over a hundred Google reviews, so you know it's not just me saying it's good. They do a proper bacon butty, and their homemade sausage rolls are worth the trip alone. Opens early too, 8:30 most days, so ideal if you need a pre-work boost.

It’s a proper deli, mind, not a fancy restaurant. Think more grab-and-go than sit-down meal. They're good value too, which is always a bonus these days. It's on the small side, so don't expect a massive selection, but what they do, they do well. Give 'em a ring on 01772 811077 if you need to check something, but they're usually pretty quick serving.

They are closed Sundays and Saturdays though, which is a pain if you're after a weekend treat. And it’s worth knowing they shut up shop early on a Friday, around 3pm.
