Opal Moon Boutique

Looking for a gift that's a bit different? Opal Moon Boutique in Southport town centre is worth a look. They've got a good range of handmade jewellery and accessories – think earrings, necklaces, that sort of thing. I reckon it's a good shout if you need something a little more personal than what you'd find in Debenhams (RIP).

I had a quick browse online and they've got a solid 4.8-star rating from 35 reviews. Seems like people are generally happy with the quality and the service. I've not bought anything myself, but my sister-in-law got a necklace from there last year and she's still wearing it, so that's a good sign, right? They're open Monday to Friday, 9 'til 7, but closed on weekends which is a bit of a pain if you work during the week.

If you're driving into town, Lord Street can be a nightmare for parking, so best bet is to use one of the car parks on the outskirts and walk in.
