Right, so you're after some proper golf gear? Head straight to the Royal Birkdale Pro Shop. Loads of people rate it highly - 4.6 stars from over 550 Google reviews. You don't get that by selling rubbish. It's attached to the Royal Birkdale course itself, you know, the one that's hosted The Open a bunch of times.

Even if you're not planning on tackling the course (green fees apply if you're not a member, mind), the shop is worth a look. They've got all the big brands, plus some Birkdale-branded stuff if you want a souvenir. It's a proper golf shop, not just a tourist trap. They've been around since 1889!
