Need milk at 10 PM? SPAR on Roe Lane is your spot. Open till 11 PM, seven days a week, it’s a lifesaver if you're caught short. It's right in town, so handy if you're near Lord Street. Prices are what you'd expect from a SPAR – pretty reasonable.

It's a small shop, mind you, so don’t go expecting a massive selection like you'd find at Asda. Think essentials: bread, milk, snacks, that sort of thing. Google reviews are sitting at 3.7 stars out of 5 from 38 reviews, so take that as you will. I reckon it's fair enough for what it is: a convenience store.
