The China Shop. theantiquesman

Looking for something a little different? The China Shop, or theantiquesman as they are online, is right in the town centre and is worth a browse if you like poking around for something unusual. I wouldn't go expecting a museum piece, but there's always a chance you'll unearth a bargain.

It's not got loads of reviews online (3 on Google, currently sitting at 3.7 stars) but it's the kind of place you need to see for yourself. It's packed to the rafters with, well, everything! From china (obviously) to furniture and odd bits and bobs. It's definitely got character.

They're open six days a week, Monday to Saturday, 9 'til 6, so pretty easy to find a time to pop in. Give them a ring on 07714 322252 if you are after something specific, or check out their website.

One thing to bear in mind: it can get a bit cramped inside, so maybe leave the big shopping bags in the car.
