Need a new bottle of something nice? The Fragrance Shop in town is getting top marks right now – a perfect 5 stars from 8 reviews. Can't argue with that, eh? It's a proper shop, not one of those counters in a department store, so they know their stuff. All the usual brands are there, and sometimes they have decent deals on if you keep an eye out.

It's dead easy to find, being right in the middle of Southport. Opening times are pretty standard for town: 9 'til half 5 weekdays and Saturdays. Sundays are a bit shorter, opening at 11 and closing at 5. You can always give them a bell on 01704 776967 if you're after something specific or want to check they have it in stock.

They've got everything from your everyday aftershaves to the fancy stuff for special occasions. I popped in before my Liz's birthday last month, and the staff were actually really helpful without being pushy. Worth a look if you're stuck for a gift idea, or just fancy treating yourself.

Just a heads up, Saturday afternoons can get pretty busy in town, so parking can be a pain. Maybe try the train or bus if you're just nipping in for a quick browse.
