The Shop Next Door

Right, so if you're nipping up to Formby from Southport, there's a little shop I reckon is worth a look: The Shop Next Door. It's got a perfect 5.0 rating on Google, though only from a couple of reviews so far, mind you. Still, gotta start somewhere, eh? They're open Monday to Saturday, 9 'til 4, so decent hours for a browse.

It's in Formby, so not technically Southport, but come on, it's just up the road. I wouldn't say it's worth a special trip *just* for this, but if you're already up that way, maybe for a walk on the beach or something, then yeah, pop in. Word of warning: Formby gets proper busy on sunny days, so give yourself plenty of time to get there.

I've heard good things about the stuff they stock, proper local crafts and gifts and that. Beats the usual tourist tat you get in some places down Lord Street. It's the kind of place where you might find a little something for your mum's birthday, or a treat for yourself if you're that way inclined.

Just a heads up, parking in Formby can be a proper nightmare, especially on weekends, so maybe think about the train if you can.
