Wax and Relax Candles

Alright, so you're after some nice smelling candles? Wax and Relax Candles in town centre is worth a look. They're open pretty early most days, 8am, which is handy if you're an early bird. Closes up around 5pm weekdays, a bit earlier on weekends – 4pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so don't head down then.

It's a small independent place, not one of those big chains. I haven't been in myself yet, but I saw someone mention they got a really nice lavender one there for a gift. I had a quick check online, and they've got a perfect 5.0 rating, but only one review so far, so take that with a pinch of salt! Still, could be a good sign.

Parking in town can be a pain, especially on weekends. Try the car park by the train station, or if you're lucky, you might snag a space on the street, but watch out for the restrictions.
