Your Choice Greengrocers

Alright, so you're looking for decent fruit and veg in Southport? Your Choice Greengrocers on Ormskirk Road is worth a shout. I've been popping in there for years, ever since I got fed up with the supermarket stuff. They're open seven days a week, 8am to 6pm, and you can ring 'em on 07733 355021 if you need to check anything.

They've got a decent selection – your usual spuds and carrots, but also some bits you don't always see everywhere. What I like is that it's generally fresher than what you'd pick up at Tesco. It's not the cheapest, mind, you'll probably pay a bit more than the big boys, but I reckon it's worth it for the quality. It gets a solid 4.5 stars from what I can see, based on a good few reviews, so it's not just me who thinks it's alright.

It's not massive, so don't expect a massive range. But if you're after some decent produce for your Sunday roast, or just want to support a local business, give them a go. They're a good bunch.

Just a heads up, parking on Ormskirk Road can be a pain, so maybe walk if you can, or be prepared to circle the block a couple of times!
