Limoncello

Limoncello is a solid Italian restaurant right in the heart of Birkdale Village. It's been there for a good few years now, and the food is consistently good – you know what you're getting. The Google reviews back that up too: 4.9 out of 5 from 86 reviews is pretty darn good. I’d say it's probably best for couples or families wanting a reliable meal out.

They do a pretty standard Italian menu, pasta, pizza, that sort of thing, all done well. It's not the cheapest mind you, I'd put it at around £££, but you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It can get pretty lively on a Friday and Saturday night, so bear that in mind.

They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and then open every other day of the week. Wednesdays and Thursdays they're open from 1pm to 9pm, Fridays and Saturdays 1pm to 10pm, and Sundays 1pm to 8:30pm. You can find them online at limoncellobirkdale.co.uk or give them a ring on 01704 790249.
