Right then, Roxy's Cafe... if you're after a proper coffee in town, this is one of the best. It's got a cracking 4.9 stars from 46 reviews on Google, so it's not just me saying it. It's a good shout whether you're just nipping in for a quick brew or fancy a bit more of a sit-down.

They do a decent range of cakes and snacks too, ideal if the weather's turned typical Southport and you need somewhere to hide from the rain for a bit. It's open every day, but worth noting the hours vary. They're early risers during the week, opening at 8am, but don't open till later on weekends.

It's not massive inside, so might get a bit busy during peak times, especially on a Saturday. Give them a ring on 0330 912 7361 if you're thinking of going with a bigger group.

One thing to remember: Roxy's shuts at 4pm most days, and even earlier on Sunday (3:30pm), so it's more of a daytime thing.
