Art Galleries in Southport
Southport has a genuine cluster of independent galleries that most visitors walk straight past. Wayfarers Arcade alone has three. The Atkinson on Lord Street is the anchor of the whole thing — one of the best free gallery spaces in the North West, regularly rotating exhibitions. The independents on Lord Street and in Ainsdale are smaller but worth the stop. These are places to browse without pressure or a booking fee.
