Coach Park

Okay, so you're bringing a coach to Southport? The Coach Park is your best bet, right in the town centre — handy for Lord Street and the shops. It's not free, mind you, and it can get pretty busy during peak season, especially around the Air Show and the Flower Show.

It's a dedicated coach park, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a space big enough, unlike trying to squeeze into some of the smaller car parks. It's run by Sefton Council, so it's all above board.

I haven't seen any reviews online for the Coach Park itself, but it's a car park, so what do you expect? It does what it says on the tin. It's open 24/7, which is handy. Give Sefton Council a ring on 0345 140 0845 to double-check about permits and current charges before you set off, just to be on the safe side.

A word to the wise: there are some height restrictions in other car parks around Southport so if you're thinking of chancing it elsewhere, be careful you don't get stuck!
