Foodland Burgers/Southport

Right, so Foodland Burgers. You'll find them in Southport town centre, and they're open evenings only, basically from 4pm till late. Good for a late tea if you're not cooking, or maybe after a few at the pub. It's got a 3.8 rating on Google from 13 reviews, which isn't amazing, but hey, everyone's got different tastes, haven't they?

They do what they say on the tin: burgers. Plus the usual chips, wraps, that sort of thing. I’d say it’s more of a casual place for couples or mates grabbing a bite rather than a full-on family affair, although the kids will probably like it, let's be honest. It’s not exactly fine dining, but if you're after something quick and easy, and you can't be bothered trekking out to Birkdale, it does the job. Give them a ring on 07533 322206 if you're thinking of ordering a big takeaway, especially on a Friday or Saturday night, they’re probably pretty busy.
