Jacksons

If you're after a decent lunch and you're knocking about town, Jacksons is worth a shout. It's got a solid 4.3 stars on Google from nearly 500 reviews, so you know it's not a dud. It is in the middle of town so easy to get to.

They do a bit of everything, but it's more in the cafe style than a posh restaurant. It suits families alright, and you'll see couples in there too. It's not a massive place, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy.

The prices are reasonable – I'd say it's a mid-range sort of place. They're open every day, but close relatively early. From Monday to Friday they shut at 4pm. Saturday they are open until 6pm, Sunday until 5:30pm.
