If you're after a breakfast or lunch spot in town, Kellen's Kitchen is getting rave reviews – a perfect 5 stars from 14 reviews on Google. That's saying something in Southport, believe me! They're only open until 2pm most days (1pm on Saturdays) and shut Sundays and Mondays, so it's not an evening thing.

It's got a really friendly, local vibe. From what I hear, it's a good shout for families wanting a relaxed bite to eat. I reckon couples would be happy enough in there too. I've heard their coffee is top-notch, and they do a proper full English that'll set you up for the day.
