Panda Garden

Right, Panda Garden. It’s on Corporation Street in town, so dead easy to find. If you're after a Chinese and you're already in town doing some shopping, it's a decent shout. It’s been there for years, which tells you something.

It’s not the fanciest place you’ll ever eat, and the Google reviews are a mixed bag – 3.4 stars from 80 reviews isn't amazing, but it’s not terrible either. I’d say it's a solid choice for a family meal; nothing too adventurous on the menu, so the kids should find something they like. I’ve seen couples in there too, so it suits most folk.

They're only open in the evenings, from 4:30 pm, and shut on Tuesdays. They stay open a bit later on Friday and Saturday nights, till 11 pm. It’s probably best to book if you're going on a weekend, especially if you're a bigger group. Give them a ring on 01704 500610.
