About Seaside Cottage Escape in Southport
Right, so you're looking for a place to stay in town? I reckon Seaside Cottage Escape is worth a look. It gets a solid 4-star rating, and loads of people seem happy enough, judging by the reviews online. It's dead central, so perfect if you want to be right in the thick of things. No sea view, mind, but you're close enough to walk down to the pier.
I'd say this place is probably better suited to couples or maybe a small family. It's not massive, from what I can gather. If you're coming for The Open at Birkdale in 2026 (July 12th to 19th, stick it in your diary!), this could be a decent shout as it's not a million miles away, and you'll be able to get into Southport easily for the nightlife.
They don't have a direct number listed, but you can book through their website. I'd advise doing that well in advance if you're planning a visit during peak season or, especially, for The Open.
Parking in the town centre can be a pain, so check what their parking situation is before you arrive.
