Fancy a Thai? Thai Rice in town is a solid bet. It's got a cracking 4.7 stars on Google from over 460 reviews, so you know they're doing something right. It's not the cheapest mind you, I'd say it's a mid-range price, but the portions are decent.

The menu's got all the usual suspects – Pad Thai, green curry, that sort of thing – and they do a mean Tom Yum soup. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere, good for both couples wanting a decent meal out and families with well-behaved kids. I've seen both in there.

They're open most days, but closed Tuesdays, and have slightly odd lunch and dinner hours, so check before you head down. Evenings get busy, especially Friday and Saturday, so I'd definitely ring ahead on 01704 543974 to book a table if you're planning a weekend visit.
