Abigails Store

Abigails Store on Birkdale’s main drag is a decent shout if you need a gift, or just fancy a bit of a browse. It's been there for years, and the ladies who run it are always up for a chat. They've got a good range of bits and bobs, from jewellery to candles to cards. Nothing too wild, but solid stuff, you know? They're sitting on a 4.6 rating from over 50 reviews, so plenty of folk seem happy enough.

Don't go expecting some massive department store, it's a fairly small shop. But they pack a lot in. They're open most days, 9:30am to 5pm, except Sundays when they’re shut, same as most places around here. Give them a ring on 01704 563806 if you want to check if they've got something specific in.

It's in Birkdale Village, so you can easily combine it with a wander and maybe a coffee at one of the cafes. Parking can be a bit of a pain on Saturdays, so maybe try and go during the week if you can.
