Right, so you need new carpets in Southport? I’ve got you. Head straight to Carpet Shop on Lord Street. Don’t let the name fool you, they also do vinyl and wood flooring – I got my kitchen sorted there last year. Good selection, fair prices, and the lads who fitted it were sound.

They’ve got a solid reputation, and it's easy to see why. I’m not the only one who thinks so, with a 4.8-star rating from 32 reviews on Google. They’re open six days a week, Monday to Saturday, but close a bit earlier on Fridays and Saturdays, so don’t rock up too late.
