Blowick sits on the eastern side of Southport — not the part visitors see, but the part where a lot of people actually live. It's honest about what it is: a working-class residential area with affordable housing, decent bus connections, and no particular pretensions. Haig Avenue stadium is here — home to Southport FC. The A565 cuts through the sector, giving solid road connections to the town centre. Housing is mainly terraced streets and semis, with some more recent estate development. Blowick gets overlooked by buyers who've fixated on Birkdale or Churchtown, until they work out they can get a three-bedroom semi here for significantly less money with similar access to the town centre and schools. Worth knowing about if budget matters — which it does for most people.
