Right, so if you're knocking about Southport town centre and fancy something a bit different from the usual high street chains, pop into The FAIR Trade Store. It's got a perfect 5.0 rating based on 29 Google reviews, which is saying something, isn't it? You'll find it's a good place to pick up ethical gifts and generally support folks doing things the right way.

They stock all sorts, from coffee and chocolate to homewares and jewellery, all fairly traded. It's not the biggest shop in the world, but it's packed with interesting stuff. My sister-in-law is really into this kind of thing, and she always finds something she likes.

Now, the only thing is, their opening hours are a bit limited. They're only open Monday to Friday, 2pm to 4pm. So don't go planning a big Saturday shopping trip there, or you'll be disappointed. Also, give them a ring on 01704 569111 if you want to double-check they're open, just in case.
