Right, so you're looking for Wilko in town. It's your classic high-street shop for bits and bobs – cleaning supplies, paint, that sort of thing. They do a decent own-brand range if you're trying to save a few quid. Open late most nights till 8pm which is handy if you need something after work.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, the Google reviews aren't exactly glowing – a 1.0 rating based on 2 reviews isn't amazing, is it? But hey, it's Wilko. You know what you're getting. It's not like you're going for a fancy meal, are you? If you're after some cheap pick and mix or a new toilet brush, it'll do the job.

It is what it is – a useful shop in a handy location. And they're open Sundays 10:30am–4:30pm, if you need them.
