Alright, so you're looking for something free to do with the kids in Southport? The Stumpery Garden might be just the ticket. It's right in the town centre, so dead easy to get to. I've not been myself *yet* but I've heard good things from people I trust.
Basically, it's a little garden made out of old tree stumps and logs. Sounds weird, I know, but apparently the kids love clambering all over them. My mate's little lad is obsessed with it. It's not massive so don't go expecting a full day out, but for a free hour or two to let them burn off some energy, it's a winner.
It's got a perfect 5-star rating on Google, but that's only from one review so far, so take that with a pinch of salt. But hey, it's open 24/7 so you can go whenever you fancy! And did I mention it's free?
One thing to remember is that it *is* just tree stumps, so make sure the little 'uns are wearing decent shoes – you don't want them slipping and hurting themselves.
