King George V College Parking

Listen, King George V College Parking – that's the KGV college on Scarisbrick New Road – it's free, which is always a win in Southport, isn't it? Now, it *can* get busy during the week with students, obviously, and especially during college open days or events. So, if you're heading into town to do some shopping or grab a bite, and it's a weekday, get there early doors to snag a spot. Weekends are usually much quieter.

It's dead handy for the north end of Lord Street. You can walk straight down and you're right near Wayfarers Arcade. That's a good starting point if you're planning on hitting the shops. Plus, you're not far from the Atkinson if you fancy a bit of culture. Just remember there's a bit of a walk to get to the main part of town, maybe ten minutes.
