Southport Marine Drive Car Park

Right, so Southport Marine Drive Car Park. It's a pay-and-display car park right on Marine Drive, which, as you probably know, runs along the back of the beach. If you know where Ocean Plaza is, it's basically right behind it, between there and the sand dunes. It's dead handy for getting onto the beach itself, or if you fancy a walk along the coastal path.

It gets pretty busy, especially on sunny weekends or during the school holidays – you know how it is in Southport! I've seen people circling for ages waiting for a space, so get there early if you can. It's got a decent 4.4 out of 5 stars on Google from 43 reviews, so people generally seem happy enough with it. It's just a car park, mind.

It's open 24/7, because, well, it's a car park! I don't have a phone number for it as it is just a facility. Good for dog walkers too, plenty of space to stretch their legs on the beach.

Just a heads up: remember to actually pay and display! Those parking wardens are like hawks around there, especially in the summer.
