Car Park

Alright, so you're heading to Birkdale Village? If you're nipping into one of the shops there, the car park on 251 Birkdale Village is your best bet. It's free, which is always a bonus these days, especially in Southport. I wouldn't rely on it if you're planning a full day out though.

It's a decent sized car park, but it does get busy, especially on Saturdays and around school holidays. If you can't find a space there, you might need to try and find parking on the road nearby. But if you're just popping in for a quick shop at the butchers or a coffee, you should be alright. It's for customers only, so don't be tempted to leave your car there all day while you head into Southport town centre!

It is really handy for the village though, and saves you a walk. Just be aware that sometimes people park a bit wonky, so keep your eyes peeled when you're driving around looking for a space.

Worth knowing: the parking is only for customers of the shops in Birkdale Village, so don't chance it if you're heading elsewhere.
